INSULATION MONIFLEX
Moniflex has been the material of choice for manufacturers of trains and trams from the 1930s. It is the only insulation that can be considered a true isolation of the train; all other materials have their origin in the construction industry, where the weight usually doesn't matter.
With the introduction of high-speed trains, the weight saving is possible with Moniflex has contributed to its popularity. In addition to that, the ease with which it can work and install Moniflex, along with recyclability at the end of the useful life of the vehicle, Moniflex is the alternative of isolation for more economic.
Moniflex was developed and patented for the first time in the 1930s and has been in constant use for over 75 years.
Moniflex is made from the same natural raw material to the paper: cellulose. In view of current concerns about the environment and use of natural resources, Moniflex has re-emerged as the obvious choice in insulation materials.
Moniflex as a barrier against moisture and condensation. The MONIFLEX absorbs less than 2% of water as a result of the condensation.
Combining the MONIFLEX non-absorbent in water, with other insulation materials, such as rock wool, glass fiber or polyester, it is sure that the water generated by condensation drains into the MONIFLEX. This keeps the weight of the assembly as an insulator and it also maintains insulating properties thermal (thermal conductivity).
MX | MONIFLEX INSULATION
LMX is our own unique insulation product, Moniflex.
MXP | SANDWICH INSULATION
MXP is our insulation in combinations with other materials.
Moniflex + Glass wool + Aluminium foil
Glass wool has been a common insulation material for many decades in the rail industry. High performance for high temperatures, we focus on the unique thermal, acoustic and fire protection solutions. Our combined products will provide efficient insulation solutions for original equipment, where noise control is required. A range of non-combustible glass mineral wool slabs, used to provide acoustic and thermal insulation in a wide variety of applications.
Moniflex + Polyester + Aluminium foil
Polyester is made from a white non-woven that fulfills the highest requirements of diverse flammability tests – optionally laminated with an embossed foil of highest-grade aluminum. Does not provide a substrate for mold and fungal growth.
Moniflex + Melamine + Aluminium foil
This product is a lightweight, open-cell melamine foam insulation developed as an alternative to traditional insulation systems, such as glass wool. These high performance melamine foam sheets have a wide temperature range, low smoke and flame properties and are available in standard sizes. Custom shapes and large foam panels are available by request.
